| Project Objective/ Description: |
This project aims to provide some insight on how to situate vulnerability, disaster risk and climate change adaptation efforts within the city’s communities. More specifically, it aims to; provide a better understanding of the perceptions and comprehension of climate change amongst civil society; improve resilience to climate change at the community level in order to address the impacts of change; and to strengthen the capacity of the local authorities to integrate climate change concerns in local and city wide planning, as well as their ability to budget for cost-effective policy responses. |
