The Environmental Monitoring Group (EMG) is a not-for-profit organisation based in Cape Town and serves as the Secretariat for the South African Adaptation Network. EMG and the Adaptation Network (AN) are seeking the services of a self-motivated and capacitated individual to fill this challenging position of a Policy and Governance Specialist .
The Adaptation Network was founded in 2009 as a platform for sharing of experiences, practical approaches and frameworks relating to climate change adaptation. The Network has members from Civil Society, Government, Parastatals, Academia and Business.
The appointed person will be based in Gauteng, and will be responsible for delivering the following services in close collaboration with EMG’s Rural Programme Manager, based in Nieuwoudtville in the Northern Cape.
