Adaptation Network Strategic Planning Workshop

The Adaptation Network embarked on a strategic planning exercise to review the needs of the Network’s members and how well it was meeting those needs. The strategic planning also identified priority areas to focus on in fundraising to sustain the network beyond the current funding cycle, which ends at the end of 2024. Possible future scenarios for the network were thought through and significant progress was made in addressing the challenges related to the transformation of the network.

Several working groups emerged from this workshop, organised into five task teams. These recognise that AN is at a significant turning point in its history and that transforming AN and rethinking its identity in the current context is a worthwhile task for the whole network. However, this will take months and these task teams have been established to drive this process forward.
