The day also included discussions, a poetry performance, and a Q&A session with participants, fostering community engagement and awareness.
Outcomes:
The event successfully highlighted the need for youth involvement in climate-smart agriculture and environmental advocacy. Participants learned about the importance of sustainable farming practices, including crop rotation, soil health, and livestock management, as well as the social issues impacting youth, such as drug abuse and GBV. The discussions led to a strong call for action, urging youth to take up leadership roles, advocate for policy changes, and implement sustainable agricultural practices in their communities.
